COGNO ASM Session 2: Surgery - Abstracts Due Mon 19 Aug

|

Dear COGNO members
Session 2 of the 2019 ASM will continue with the theme of imaging and surgery. The session will open with a presentation from Dr Raymond Cook, Neurosurgeon, on his use of awake craniotomy for glioma, and circumstances where a subtotal resection with preservation of function may still be associated with good long term clinical outcome.
The bulk of session 2 however will be glioma case presentations, with an expert panel discussion. The cases will be presented by the session chairs, and discussed in detail. We are calling for attendees to submit cases for discussion. If you have an interesting patient you would like to discuss, please send in a 200 word or less summary of the case for consideration. If selected we will need a more detailed description of the patient and their presentation, as well as relevant imaging and pathology. Please email potential cases to the Organising Committee care of COGNO (cognoasm@ctc.usyd.edu.au) by Sunday 8 September 2019.
Call for Abstracts - Submissions close Monday 19 August 2019
