COGNO ASM Session 5: Assessing Treatment Response

Dear COGNO members Session 5 of the 2019 COGNO ASM will focus on the important clinical issue of treatment effect. Our international imaging experts Prof Ben Ellingson and Prof Ian Law will speak on imaging of treatment response and effect, and the use of MRI and PET respectively in assessment of this. Dr Helen Shih will then present on Pseudoprogression: how do we assess and treat - a discussion of implementation of the above techniques and the treatment options. Professor Colin Watts will elaborate on the role of surgery in treatment effect or recurrent disease. The session will conclude with case presentations; specific examples of the implementation of the above techniques of assessment and treatment.
